Kopi Luwak
the most expensive coffee in the world... can sell up to $600 per pound! wtf
more interesting fact is the way it is processed.
"Civets" sometimes people call them cats, 1st ate those red coffee cherries which contains those fruits and seeds, and they usually pick the nicest one, just like human eat the better food. so through natuaral selection, those spoiled or no-so-good condition de cherries are eliminated, leaving the better one.
after consuming, the cherries went through their digestive system which contains a sets of unique enzymes. these enzymes digest the protein giving the coffe a unique bitter taste. after the beans have been passed out by these Civets, they are collected washed, after tat they were given a light roasting to enhance its taste.
hehs such unique coffee are worth tasting.
