hmm just reached home from fort canning park!
it was awesome! although boring for a while/
But worth the wait!
Main point is, when i departed, i typed this and was ready to send out.
'Hey, call me when you reach home'
Then i realised something.
This phrase, is completely stupid. O.O
i wanted to send this cuz i thought it was gentleman and caring to do so.
well it IS in fact a form of concern.
HOWEVER. What is the point?
i mean right, when she reach home, she'll call you and tell you she's safe and right you got a peace of mind.
so what if she didn't call? then right, you know she hasn't reach home.
and then what?
what can you do about it? call her?
LOL what if shes on the way back home or going elsewhere first
or maybe she reached home but was busying with stuffs
and you call, disturb.
ALSO what is the time limit passed before you deem one as 'missing' due to not calling?
15mins? 30mins? or accurate estimation from train ride + distance away from home + her walking speed?
ALSO,
even if really something happened, what you gonna do?
1)rush down to find her (find her where?) she could've been kidnapped and sent to other places
2)call police - sorry need 48hours. + what is she just didn't notice the phone ring?
3)sit back and pray. - GFY
4)pcc, cut wrist, - laming.
anyway, i hope my point is clear.
i mean i am not against people from sending this.
sure it is sweet and stuff.
but, not practical at all.
if you wanna make sure she's safe,
send her back yourself.
