is it really worth it to score that promotion and be able to afford an Escalade if it shaves years off your life? what point is there to having a nice house if you are not living in it? Why take a nice vacation somewhere exotic if your mind never leaves the office? How much compensation makes up for missing your kid's graduation from preschool? Or coming home after they have gone to bed? Or waiting until the weekend to hear how their day at school was?
Struck me hard man, struck me hard. Made me remember the thoughts i had when i was a kid, thoughts that i thought was buried away as i grew up. Not deep enough apparently.
